Adventurous travel to Black Sea through Moldova Tyraspil
Tiraspil is the capital of Dniester Republic of Moldova. This country is isolated and is still not ratified or acknoledged by other countries. Not much changed in this country since wild 90's. Tiraspol is still criminal city where almost every second men has been jailed or convicted. Their authorities are corrupted and all economy is monopolized by government favoured brend Sherif. People there are poor and frightened, everybody has listened enough about murders and illigal convictions.
But our client had some business in Tyraspil and wanted to see Black Sea, so we had to help him. We left Kiev on friday in the evening 7PM and drove towards Odessa by Kiev-Odessa highway. At 10 PM we turned right from highway near Lyubashovka. Then we had to drive 200 km through impassibility of roads where we saw no people, 4 cars and no gas station (thanks God we were charged enough). At 12 AM of Suturday we made it to Platonovo customs block and in 50 minutes we crossed the Ukraine-Moldova frontier and started our way to Tiraspol. At 2.30 AM we finally got to the destination point, settled and fell asleep.
When we woke up the first thing we were interested in if our vehicle was OK. It peacefully standed on the road (blue Ford Focus)

We took a look at neighbourhood. Building are shabby and view is a bit depressive.

We went out for business and met two funny cats near the porch.

Than we had exhastive business day and in the evening we walked in the city center of Tiraspol.
This is their main night club.

Suvorov monument on the main city square.

Funny signs on the road

You can still see Lenin in front of local parliament

Military barracks without windows

Ugly dormitories with wierd balconies

How do they get to the balcony? is it secure? :)

Next morning we traveled back to Ukraine through other customs block in Kuchurgan. These guys happened to be less kind than in Platonovo. We had to pay 50 hrivnas (~11 $) three times or they threatened us we will have huje problems. For instance one guy demanded our insurence polices that we should have bought when we were arriving in Moldova. Sure we did not have this papers and I am not sure if we needed them - anyway we were leaving their country, but he was insting and we paid.

Back in Ukraine. We maid it! :)

10 AM Sunday we are on Black sea.
